Stem Play Day

The STEM Play Day, organized by FOSRSE (Friends of Science, Research, and STEM Education), provided an exciting opportunity for Pre-K students to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities.

Children participated in various interactive stations that introduced them to basic STEM concepts. They built structures with blocks, learned about balance, and explored engineering ideas.

They also experimented with simple machines, like pulleys and ramps, to see how they worked. Interactive coding activities helped them develop early problem-solving skills while engaging with technology.

Nature exploration allowed students to investigate natural materials such as rocks and leaves, learning about ecosystems. Additionally, art and science activities let them experiment with colors and textures, combining creativity with basic scientific principles.

The day was full of fun and learning, giving students the chance to think critically, collaborate, and develop a love for STEM in a playful environment.
